e.l.f Shimmer Gloss - Inspire

Finally got my hands on some lip glosses from e.l.f and i must say i am quite impressed! They arent like the best in the world but they are really good yeah! The colors.. pigmentation and staying power is good. And ofcourse they are reasonably priced so you can experiment with different colors and products.

Thats a really pretty shade of pink! A very pink pink if you get what i mean. The shimmer is light and beautiful.. glitters like a jewel for the light. Perfect on your lips if you want something cute and girly! You can use this on top on a pink/nude lipstick for sexy pink lips or you can use it on naked lips if you want a more casual look. I would suggest this lip gloss on top on Natallia and it looks absolutely gorgeous!

Other factors:

Medium pigmented

VERY VERY sticky

Stays on 1-2 hours

Has a slight sweet taste

No articial smell or after taste

Just the right amount of shimmer

Reasonably priced

No ingredients list so i dont know whats in it

The Body Shop Moringa Body Butter

Nothing can beat The Body Shop butters yeah.. i did stop buying their products because most of them had parabens in them.. anyways the new body butters dont have parabens so i am super happy!!

Anyways this one was a gift from a friend. Thank you so much Sweety! Really lovely to get body products as gifts. So thoughtful of you. I have been using this for a while now.. trying hard to finish it off..

Scent:

The STRONGEST SMELL OF JASMINE. It just hits your brains real hard like a brick on your bald head. BAM!! And there you are.. a total black out! haha.. well my brain is really scent sensitive and this scent gives me a big headache. I can manage a little on my arms or legs but if i use it all over my body.. i have this annoying headache all day long. The scent is strong and long lasting. Stays on for hours and hours.

Texture:

Has a buttery texture.. you got to rub it in to get it absorbed well. Its very thick and buttery.

Moisturization:

Compared to the other body butters i have used.. i have to say this one doesnt give enough moisture. Can be used during the day on really hot days for a light moisture but dry skinned ladies will not get anything out of this. It just doesnt do the job well enough!

So..

A really STRONG killing scent.. not enough moisturization. I always want something that works real well on my skin and gives it full moisture since i use my body butters at night as a skin treatment. This one didnt work for me and i wouldnt ever reccommend it.

My Gorgeous Clutch from Aaliyah

This is the gorgeous clutch i bought from Aaliyah at the Pre-Ramadan Fair at BMICH in July. I got a couple of items for myself.. you can check out the haul post HERE. Not quite a huge haul but i did manage to get some lovely stuff.

Its a really beautiful orange and gold clutch.. very traditional indian type one. I wonder if it has a specific name.. im not familiar with it. All i can say is - looks really orangy goldish.. rich and perfect on a dressy night.. with your sarees.. shalwar kameez or even a lovely dress which might need an indian touch.

Has a narrow bit of space like an envelope clutch but its quite enough to hold your basic necessities. And you can slip in your camera too. I usually dont carry too much of stuff so this is perfect for me. Came with a price tag of LKR. 3000. A bit pricey i guess but worth it.

Every girl needs some pink in her life! There can never be too much pink yeah! I was always a bit reluctant to try out pink shades of lipstick but after my wedding day makeup i realised how much glow and happiness a pink can add to your face! Just be careful you choose the right shade of pink for your skin tone.


Now here you can see a real cute pale pink colored lipstick. Isnt it so girly??

Its a real light barbie doll like pink color! Suits most skin tones.. light and medium. Can be used as a light pink shade on your lips that comes on almost nude or can be made a little deeper by building on. 

My camera didnt really pick up the exact shade of pink but i can say it still looks super pink and girly!

The Birthday Card I got made for Mr. Husband and A Lovely Giveaway!

Its a lovely rainy day yeah.. reminds me of all the rainy days in the past when Mr. Husband and I enjoy our hot home made soup + a nice movie! Nothing beats those low key evenings.. dont you think? I also remembered that i didnt tell you what i got for Mr. Husband on his birthday!!!!! After thinking and thinking and thinking.. i finally got him the Forest Trail - Discovery Set (which needs to be reviewed very soon) and also a gorgeous handmade card! Ofcourse i didnt make it myself.. i got it made by Reverberations By AJ!

Isnt it like super romantic?! I would usually go for a more girly kinda card but since we are really far away from each other and all that.. i thought he might appreciate a touch of romance! Do you guys like it too? Well its depends on your preferences ofcourse. Anyways its really a nice feeling to get a card custom made for your loved ones. Its more personal and closer to heart. 

Reverberations By AJ - is this lovely company that makes handmade cards for all occasions.. just tell them what you have in mind.. your ideas.. your thoughts and voila! They come up with so many different designs that they draw for you and you can choose which one you love. My card was made in just a couple of days and delivered to me. They hand delivered it.. it was all fast and really comfortable. Their customer service is amazing.. super friendly and flexible. All my discussions were done on the phone! So i didnt have to go meet them or set up a meeting etc. All the discussions were done on the phone and picture exchanging was done through the internet and finally the card was delivered home! 

Mr. Husband ofcourse loved the card and called it 'romantic haaaaaaaaa' haha! Thats his attempt on trying to make me blush! Anyways totally glad i did this and i can tell you im never going to one of those card shop to pick up a random card for my loved ones. I will have them all made specially for them.. makes it so much more worthwhile and also the best part is - they make only one card of every design which means noone else will ever be able to duplicate a card you made. So its unique and priceless.

ModDiva Clam Shell Clutch Set of 4

Clutches are a MUST for every girl! I totally love them! I use them while travelling to hold my make up and other necessities and also helps me organise my things at home. This beautiful clutch set is from ModDiva. Really cute and comes in 4 sizes perfect if you need a couple of clutches for different use. 

The highlight of this clutch is the shape.. it looks like a really pretty shell. Doesnt loose its shape and looks full and pretty whether its filled up with stuff or totally empty. 

The biggest of them all - i use it as my make up bag to keep all my lippies, blushes and eyeliners etc. Perfect to store cosmetics in your dresser drawer or even if you want to travel.. you can use it as your travel cosmetic bag. Its the perfect size to hold all your necessities.

This is second biggest one - i use it for keeping my panty liners and sanitary napkins in my handbag! Its always in my handbag and is of great importance. (LOL) Its really convenient to store these little personal items in a clutch rather than throw them into my handbag and search and search for them when i really need them panicking and wondering if i brought them or not.

Thats my lip balm clutch!! I store all my lip balms there so its easier for me to keep them safe in one place! I dont carry this clutch around.. its always in my drawer safe and sound.

The smallest and the cutest of them all - you can use it to store coins but i use it to keep my rings safe in my handbag. I always wear my rings when travelling and half way i want to remove them and put them in my handbag. So this little tiny clutch is so useful to keep my rings safe and easy to find later on when i want to put them back in my jewellry box.

So those are my 4 cutey clutches! Really useful and makes organising and storing so much more easier for me. Especially a lazy person like me needs something like this to help keep my dresser and hangbag more organised.

Hawaiian Goat Milk Charcoal Facial Soap from SkinCaring Soaps

I havent used soap on my face for years!!!! Maybe because i always felt it was easier with face wash.. and also my mom isnt a great fan of soap and she never allows me to use them. She says soap dries out your face! But ofcourse that was before i found this lovely charcoal soap for my face! Gentle and safe.

Charcoal is ideal for deep cleansing your face - to remove impurities from your pores yet being really gentle. After loads of researching on the internet (i do that whenever i want to try something new for my face) I decided to make this my 'before bed' deep cleansing product. I have been using this for a while now and these are my thoughts.

Scent:

Has a really natural scent.. my nose cant really figure out what it smells like exactly! But its really light and natural smelling. Not a lovely scent or anything.. but not something which would bother you. Its light and just there i guess.

Lather:

Lathers really well! Perfect for a bit of massaging onto your face before you wash it off. The soap bar doesnt melt off easily so it would last a while.. a small bar of soap can be used for quite a long time. 

Does it work?

I have been using this soap EVERYDAY now for a while.. sometimes even twice a day. Depending on my mood. Love the way it cleanses my face.. makes me feel really clean and leaves my skin soft. Doesnt dry out the face.. doesnt make it look dull. Love the way it cleanses yet seems to be so gentle. Perfect for a good cleanse before bed night because it removes all the dirt and helps your night time skin products to really get in there and work better. I had no breakouts or allergic reactions after trying this.. i usually dont get any zits unless i try something new and it doesnt suit me. I got super sensitive skin and i am really careful on what i use for my face. This soap has really helped soften my skin.. and make it look more fresh and healthy.
