BonBliss Scrub 2 Go (Mini Solid Hand Scrub) - Lavender Luxury, Mango Sorbet, Cherry Almond, Twilight Forest, Oatmeal Honey Milk and Tropical Delight

If you have been reading my blog for awhile you will definitely know how much i love these scrubs! Its a definite must try and have if you want a super treat for your hands or feet. Its one of those must stock spa products :-) If you want a full detailed review of these just have a look HERE. I have already done a full review on this scrub before so i will just review different scents in this post.

Lavender Luxury -

This might just be my most favorite scent from all those i have tried from their range! Its such a fresh cologne like scent! Instantly gives you that splash of freshness! Love it! A bit of lavender.. and alot of freshness!

Cherry Almond -

The perfect combination of cherry and almonds. Both perfectly balance each other. The cherry scent comes out like cherry candy.. those chewy juicy ones. Yes smells just like that with almonds on it. A lovely scent.. not too sweet or nutty. Love it!

Twilight Forest -

A sweet scent.. not too strong or heavy. A little orangy! Just a little orangy. Its difficult to figure out whats the scent. Has a slight freshness to it but its a more sweet candy like scent.

Oatmeal, Milk and Honey -

A nice warm cuddly scent.. a cookie like scent. Not too strong! A light scent for all those who dont like strong ones.

Tropical Delight -

A super fruity scent!! Full of fruits! Love it! Smells like a basket of fruits! LOVE IT! If you are into juicy fruity scents.. you will love it!

Mango Sorbet -

A sweet lovely smell of MANGOES! YAY! Who doesnt love mangoes!! If you are into sweet scents you will definitely enjoy this one.

The Body Shop Sweet Lemon Body Butter

This product was a gift from a friend.. So generous of her! Its so lovely to get skincare products as gifts yeah. Thanks sweety! So i decided i am going to use up all the body butters i have at the moment before getting new stuff. I need to finish off some stuff before they get bad. Its really hard.. being so lazy and all that. LOL.

Scent:

Though it says SWEET LEMON. I think the scent is almost bitter. Its lemony.. kinda bitter. Not a heavy scented body butter. Its quite light.. lasts a long long time. Almost the whole day. I love citrus scents but this scent is not something i love but its okay. Its light and bearable. Not a fresh scent unfortunately but not something you will hate. Its okay. If you are looking for something that smells light you can definitely give this a try.

Texture:

A buttery texture. Takes a good rub to sink in. A little sticky.. just a little. Moisturises really well! A good moisturiser that works well for normal skin and also great for dry skin if you want something for the day. Its a perfect moisturiser for daytime. Its light yet good enough. No greasy feeling at all. 

 So..

I like this! Its the right moisturiser for my dry skin during the day. I like that it doesnt smell too strong.. and my skin is soft all day long! Do try it.

The Body Shop Papaya Body Scrub

Its raining so hard.. the weather is ice cold and its lovely. Time for a warm cup of hot chocolate and a nice girly movie. Hows Something borrowed? Is it a good movie? Thats whats planned for tonight. Missing Mr. Husband loads.. wish he was here :-(

Anyways, body scrubs are a must have ofcourse and this is the one that im using at the moment. This is my main scrub that i use 2 times a week for a full body scrubbing session.

Its a creamy formula with ground rice, hazel nut granules and kiwi seeds for exfoliation. And has papaya seed oil for moisturization. 

Suitable for normal skin.

Scent:

A very SWEET scent.. its really artificial.. cant say it smells of papayas. Blindfolded noone will really guess the scent. (I tried this LOL) You wouldnt hate this scent.. its okay i guess. A bit too sweet for my liking. Doesnt give you that ' FRESH ' feeling.

Texture & Exfoliation:

A creamy scrub with loads of particles to exfoliate. A little goes a long way and gives you a super scrub. Exfoliates really really so well. Leaves skin feeling clean and smooth. Can be a bit drying so moisturization is a MUST. You have to cover yourself up with your body lotion after using it. Cant get lazy with this one.

So..

I do like this one though i dont really love the scent.. and i am very lazy so its a bother having to moisturise everytime i use it. If you got oily skin you can give this a try but im not sure if the scent will agree with you. Its okayISH.

Klairs Gentle Moist Aloe Gel

If you are someone who suffers from really oily skin and pimples.. this is something you definitey need to try out! Its an aloe gel face pack that you can use once or twice a week and it helps control the oil in your face and reduce acne and pimples.

 

Texture:

A really light gel. Just apply in onto your face and let it stay for about 10 - 15 mins till it dries. Wash off. Once washed you feel your face is not oily anymore and its shine free. Perfect for oily faced beauties! I didnt really need something like this for my skin because i got combination skin so i gave it to my brother who has acne prone oily skin and he totally lovessssssss it!

Scent:

Has a really really fresh lovely scent! Love it!

So..

Its an awesome face pack for oily skin.. if you got combination skin or dry skin please stay away as it is a bit too drying for you! Packed with lovely natural ingredients.. free from chemicals. Its a MUST TRY if you are someone who is trying to get rid of that extra shine on your face.

Palladio Liquid Eyeliner Bronze

Black was getting a bit boring so i decided to do a bit of experiments with different colors of eyeliner. This is one i got a while ago but havent really used it much. For some reason i felt it was not showing on my eye lids. The color is beautiful when swatched but doesnt really show up on the lids when used as a liner.. maybe if you are very fair skinned you might be able to get a slight sparkle.

So thats the color when you see it on the wand. Really beautiful. Another problem i noticed was the tip of the wand isnt sharp to help you get a proper thin line. Kinda soft so drawing a thin line is almost impossible.

Thats the color. Brown with loads of gold shimmer. Its a shimmery eyeliner. Can be used for the lower eye line to add a pop of color but as a main eyeliner it might look a bit.. lost.

So..

It didnt work for me because -

The color is just invisible on my eye lids

The wand is too soft

Too much gold for a day

Madison Street Beauty Ocean Coral Eye Shadow

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Butter

This is one product that seems to have mixed reviews. I know loads of people who hate this and loads who love it!!!!!! So this is my version..

Scent:

OK HONESTLY I HATEEEE THIS SCENT! i hate it.. everyone at home just hates it so much.. they kinda chase me away if they spot the scent. LOL. It was SO hard for me to try and finish it up. Took me ages really. I wonder who can bear it.. its unbelievable.

Texture:

It has a runny texture. The body butter would pour out if it was tilted. Please give me an award for finishing it ladies. Trust me it was HARD WORK!

Moisturization:

VERY greasy and oily! Best for winters. Avoid it during the summers during the day time. Perfect for overtime moisturization. Especially if you got dry skin and want something to soften your skin. Apply this product generously all over your body at night. And let it work all night. When you wake up in the morning you will see a huge difference in your skin. Skin feels sooooooooooo soft and smooth. Its amazing. 

So..

Well this depends on what you really want - If you are looking for something to work on dry skin, this is perfect. The smell is really horrible so i wouldnt ask you to run and buy it. I cant say i hate this product and i cant deny how well it worked on my skin too. So its best to ask your nose and decide!

The Robber Bride by Margaret Atwood and Something I cooked for a Rainy Evening!

Its a lovely rainy day so here comes a book review! Only when it rains that i remember i got loads of books to be reviewed. Books i have read months ago.. and they are still waiting on the shelves calling out to me. This is one i borrowed from Miss. Sister in Law. The title sounds really interestings yeah..

"A circle of friends are each betrayed by a glamorous woman who steals money, men and a feeling of safety and security for the group. The betrayal turns their worlds upside down and causes each friend to reevaluate world views, chosen partners and paths in life."  

Basically its a book about this beautiful woman who steals other peoples men! OH GOD! I just hate them. LOL! Anyways she was a friend of a couple of really stupid ladies.. she totally messed up their lives and then she pretended to have been killed in a bomb blast. So after a couple of years she's back. So now if it was me what would i do? KICK HER ASS MAYBE? YES OFCOURSE. What do the bunch of stupid ladies do? Well thats the story.. 

This book i should say makes men look like real victims but its not really the case. Its not like they are kidnapped and stolen away from their wives yeah? So its kinda unbelievable to feel sorry for them, though the author makes them look like lost puppies and really vulnerable. There is this long long history of the characters and  too much of description of things that just add too many pages to the book. Was kinda interesting at the start but really dragged towards the end.. and the end was rather blunt.

So..

I felt it was really boring and wouldnt suggest it to anyone of you but i also heard so many people loved this book. So have you read it? What do you think?
 

Anyways i cooked today!!!!!!! And i think Paneer Butter Masala goes really well with the rain!

So this underwear is the hottest pink shade with the right amount of leopard on it! So simple and SUPER SEXY! Would be a great acessory on an Island. HAHA!

This is the bag i was telling you all about! The one i ordered from Oasap! Its really pretty and big enough to hold my things. Perfect bag for a long day out! Maybe i can pop in some of Mr. Baby's items too!

Kelly Edwards Skincare Eye Gel

An important part of our skincare routine is ofcourse taking care of the eye area which we dont always give enough thought to. I had been looking for some good eye products for dark circles but nothing really seemed to work that well until i found this amazing eye gel made out of natural ingredients. YAY! I hit the jackpot with this one.

EVER since i decided im going all natural.. i try my best to avoid products that have too many chemicals in them and im always on the look out for products that have least nasty ingredients in them.  

Kelly Edwards Skincare is a company that has a wide range of skincare products for all skin types and the bestest part is - they dont have any scary ingredients in them. So if you are also a natureholic like me, you should definitely have a look at their range. Its quite impressive!

So you can see its a tiny tiny bottle of eye gel. Its so cute and small.. and is handy to be carried around in our handbag. Too cute. They got 2 sizes and this is the small one. Perfect if you want to try it out first before buying a whole huge bottle.

I use this eye gel 2 times a day. During the day to keep my eye area totally moisturized and healthy looking and at night before bed to let it work on my dark circles. A tiny drop is enough to cover the whole eye area and it leaves it so moisturised and hydrated all day long. Perfect.

So..

I have been using this product for the past 3 weeks and i just love love love it! I look more fresh and healthy. My dark circles have reduced so much in less than a week! I know!! Its so awesome. And i dont have to worry about what i feed into my eye area because its free from all scary chemicals and its perfectly safe. Do grab a bottle and try it yourself! Its the best eye gel i have used till now.
