You wake up in the morning and see your face in the mirror.. OH MY GOD! Whats that ugly red thing? oh.. a pimple! Now what do i do???? Will it go away?! :(
For days like this.. you would need something like this to calm you down :P Ok i just heard you! so im going to stop. Enough with the over the top 'TV Commercial Tone'. Hehe..
Hey Ladies! Today my review would be on a face mask.
You must have seen this in my summer besties!
So this is what the mask looks like:
Its a thick green paste like a green colored cold cream. The consistency of the mask is so thick that it doesnt spill even if you hold the tub open upside down. The smell i would say is very mild, its almost odourless.. it has a slight medicine smell. If you have used the other products in the tea tree range you would know what im talking about.
Ingredients:
Water, Kaolin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Myristyl Myristate, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Propanediol, Alcohol Denat., Caprylyl Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Cyclohexasiloxane, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Menthol, Limonene, Leptospermum Petersonii (Lemon Tea Tree) Oil, t-Butyl Alcohol, Denatonium Benzoate, Tocopherol, Chromium Hydroxide Green, Iron Oxides.
Instructions:
Smooth a thin layer onto pat-dried skin, clean face and neck with your fingertips. Leave for 5 to 10 minutes (mask will not dry). Then rinse off with clean water and pat skin dry. Use once or twice per week, after cleansing.
My thoughts on this product-
This product is specially formulated for blemished skin. I dont have blemished skin and i dont get many pimples BUT i use this product on days when i do get a pimple or 2. I apply a very thin layer of this mask and let it stay for about 10 mins. It doesnt dry on the skin so once my 10 mins is gone i wash my face with cold water and pat it dry.
When you apply it.. your skin feels really cool and nice. The menthol in this mask gives you that relaxing feeling and it stings a little if its applied on sensitive areas like the sides of my nose.. but it doesnt do any harm so i apply it all over my face except my eye area.
Once washed your face looks soo fresh and clean! and you are all set for the day! Some people may feel that their skin is slightly oily after using this mask.. it doesnt make the skin oily but it sometimes feels so. So i would advise you to use this mask at night.
You would be able to feel your pimples slightly dried with a single use of this mask and it helps clean up all your pimples and improve skin if its used as per advised i.e once or twice a week.
Will i recommend it?
Yes :-D
So what do you think of my review? Have you used this product? Tell me your reviews!

ReplyDeletei think it worth's try
I dunno why... The Body Shop Tea Tree line doesn't work on my skin... I still get my skin to break out plus the toner has burning sensation to my skin for first time using it...
ReplyDeleteOhh thats bad! did you try the tea tree oil directly onto your pimples? it helps drying them out! i think you got really sensitive skin.
ReplyDeleteYeah...I did try the tea tree oil directly onto my pimples but it didn't help me at all... I used Tea Tree Body line as my skincare regime almost one year but it did help me... So, I decided to stop it... What is difference between sensitive skin and oily skin?? Plus I got tons of blackheads on my cheek!! T_T
ReplyDeleteSensitive skin is if your skin gets irritated very easily.. is allergic to many things and you dont seem to apply anything on your face because it becomes red.. Oily skin is when your face produces alot of oil and looks really oily and causes break outs and pimples! Why dont you try Himalaya neem and turmeric facewash? its awesome for pimple prone skin.. and i use st. ives apricot scrub for my blackheads and it works like a dream.
ReplyDeleteIts gotta come to me now :D Pimples bug me in and out, and this looks like help :) Thank you for the wonderful review :)
ReplyDeleteLove,
Namita <3
