DIY TESTING: THE ULTIMATE HAIR MASK AND ROUTINE FOR HAIR FALL! OH YEAH!

Yes here we are.. the MOST discussed topic of all generations! HAIR FALL! GOD! IF THEY OFFER DEGREES OR PHDS ON 'GOOGLE SEARCH FOR HAIR FALL REMEDIES' YOU GOT THE VERY FIRST CANDIDATE RIGHT HERE LADIES. I WOULD SCORE 100/100 WITH A BIG FAT SMILE. No i am NOT kidding unfortunately.

Even after graduating (on my PHD) WHY AM I STILL STRUGGLING? Good question: Because i am LAZY and I AM TOO QUICK TO JUDGE THE ONION. YES HE STINKS. DOESNT HE?! But there is no gain without any pain so i decided that i am doing it. NOW AND THATS IT. Climbing onto the onion train and not getting down. EVER! I mean for awhile.. long while.

If you are someone like me.. you would have definitely read about this onion hair fall remedy in a million places. It is one of those hardly tried remedies that actually seems to work but noone gives the onion a fair chance because of its SCENT. True? So i thought i am doing to try and maybe you would find it helpful as well.. you could try it too. And lets see what happens.

LETS GET STARTED LADIES!

REMEMBER THIS BEFORE YOU START THIS TREATMENT:

1. Trust the onion! I know hair fall is so stressful and its very common to try a remedy a bunch of times and then totally give up. But dont do that! All DIY remedies take time. Give yourself a little time - atleast 4-6 weeks before you decide to stop. I have decided to give this treatment 3 months time and i will post a full detailed update on what happened and all that stuff later.

2. IT STINKS. Yes it does. Dont be a drama queen. Not everything on this earth has to smell fruity and floral. Freak out a little bit and then calm down. You got to face the stink and GET OVER IT. Dont be mad.. i am actually talking to myself right now. LOL.

3. DO NOT BROADCAST YOUR HAIR TREATMENT TO THE WORLD. Please. I know you are excited but dont. Trust me, First you try it and then you can tell people. I know you are making these weird facial expressions right now but the reason why i am warning you is : the moment everybody around you knows you are using onions on your hair, they are going to keep you under the microscope and smell your hair all the time and keep reminding you that it stinks. It might not even stink BUT ITS THERE ON THEIR MINDS AND THEIR BRAINS MIGHT JUST FOOL THEM. Which later makes you feel insecure and then you lose the motivation and confidence. We do not want that, right?

4. Keep a good 2 hours free for this treatment. Watch some tv, cook or blog. Whatever it is.. you shouldnt hurry. Take your time.

5. Be regular. Decide how often you want to use it and keep right on track. I am going to use this mask 2-3 times a week since i got terrible hair fall. You can decide according to what suits you best.

6. You are going to make it so smile. STOP COUNTING HOW MANY STRANDS OF HAIR YOU ARE LOSING. Stressing about hair fall makes it so much worse. Trust me.

WHAT I USE FOR THIS TREATMENT:

Onion
Olive Oil

L’Occitane 5 Essential Oils Volumizing Shampoo

Apple Cider Vinegar
Spa Ceylon Aloe Vera Watergrass Aromaveda Hair Conditioner
Spa Ceylon Aloe Vera Watergrass Hair Oil Mist

And HERE IS WHAT I DO:

1. Grate the onion using a vegetable grater. Squeeze out the juice, you are going to use that. Throw the pulp away. Add a few teaspoons of olive oil. Mix it well. You can use coconut oil as well. Use what you have in hand.

2. Massage the mask onto your scalp. Remember to cover all your bald spots. Do not apply any on your hair.. its not really necessary. Just concentrate on your scalp.

3. Tie your hair up using a hair clip and let it stay for around 60-90 mins. The longer the better.

4. Wash your hair using a mild shampoo. I am using the L’Occitane 5 Essential Oils Volumizing Shampoo because its silicone free and well i feel its pretty mild for regular use. Smells lovely too!

5. Fill up a bucket of water, add 1 - 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar to it. Mix it up and rinse your hair with it. Yes apple ciger vinegar smells worse than the onions! But it doesnt stay long and will rinse off the onions and make you hair smell better.

6. Use a hair conditioner if you want. I am using the Spa Ceylon Aloe Vera Watergrass Aromaveda Hair Conditioner at the moment because its paraben free, chemical free and has all these exotic essential oils in it. Sounds pretty cool and also smells nice.

7. Towel dry your hair a little and let it air dry. Dont use your hair dryer.. no heat. Just let your hair take its time and dry.

THATS IT! YOU CAN SMILE NOW BUT IF YOU WANT TO TAKE IT A LITTLE FURTHER..

8. You can use a little scent onto your hair to make sure that the scent of onions dont sneak peek. I use the Spa Ceylon Aloe Vera Watergrass Hair Oil Mist to add a little scent and a bit of shine to my hair. I absolutely love this! Its paraben free and chemical free! Smells DIVINE! Its a hair oil so i always try to be careful not to add too much. Just a spray or two onto my fingers and i run my fingers through my hair and DONE. Hair smells SO GOOD, looks shiny and so lovely.

So there you go! I have started this treatment and will be testing it out for 3 months. After 3 months i will post a full review. Meanwhile i am so happy to say that -

I do not smell of onions at all!
NO ONE AT HOME REALISED I HAD USED ANY ONION ON MY HEAD! Phew!

My head feels really really clean

Dandruff seems to have reduced 80% after the VERY first wash

It sure is a good sign so please wish me luck and do try it out if you are facing hair fall as well. Lets try this together and see how it goes! Im off to wash the onions off now! LOL! See you didnt know.. did you?
